Hurricane Helene affected parts of District 7680 and our western North Carolina neighbors in devastating ways. Thirty-nine counties in NC have been designated as Federal Disaster areas and 6 of our District’s 14 counties are included in this designation
Rotarians are ready to assist.
If you are in an affected area, your first step should be to contact your club and district leadership for immediate action.
Those outside affected areas can help by donating funds. Together, we make a difference.
How to Help Those Affected By Hurricane Helene*
Rotary 7680 Fund
The Rotary 7680 Fund transforms your charitable gifts into service projects that change lives close to home and around the world. This donor-advised fund has made it easy for Rotarians, their families, and businesses to support life-changing, sustainable initiatives and provide disaster relief where it’s needed most.
Administered by the Foundation for the Carolinas, the Fund accepts contributions that can be directed toward specific needs, such as disaster recovery. Most recently, these donations have supported relief efforts in Western North Carolina following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
